Newfire Welcomes Michael Howard as Vice President of Account Management

Michael brings 25 years of deep experience in business and digital transformation, with a track record of helping organizations align strategy, technology, and operations to deliver measurable results at scale.

In this role, Michael will work closely with Newfire’s clients to ensure the successful delivery of complex transformation initiatives, strengthening alignment across product, technology, and business teams while accelerating outcomes and long-term value creation.
Background on Michael Howard
Prior to joining Newfire, Michael served as Senior Vice President at Phaedon and Senior Partner at ICF and ICF Next, leading business transformation teams and advising Fortune 30 clients on digital transformation, system integration, and organizational redesign. Across these roles, he built and led consulting organizations of more than 35 professionals and managed cross-functional programs spanning product, IT, marketing, and operations.
His work includes leading enterprise-wide rebranding and operating model transformations, establishing PMOs, and overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives that require coordination across executive leadership, functional teams, and external partners.

Earlier in his career, Michael held leadership roles at BearingPoint and Technology, Management, and Analysis Corporation, where he led process improvement, systems implementation, and operational transformation efforts for the Department of the Navy and Headquarters Marine Corps.
Michael’s appointment reflects Newfire’s continued investment in strengthening its client-facing leadership as organizations increasingly seek partners who can deliver both strategic clarity and execution at scale.
